Abstract

The e-book "Health, Technology and Education: the challenges of today's world" explores the intersection between these three essential pillars of contemporary life, highlighting the transformations, opportunities and challenges that emerge in a scenario of constant technological innovations. The advancement of technology has profoundly impacted health and education systems, providing new tools and approaches that improve quality of life and access to knowledge. However, these advances also reveal challenges, such as inequality in access to technologies, privacy protection and the adaptation of pedagogical methods. The book proposes a critical reflection on the implications of the use of technology in health, such as telemedicine and remote monitoring devices, in addition to examining how digital education can transform teaching, while exposing socioeconomic and regional disparities. In addition to mapping the innovations that are already shaping these areas, the e-Book discusses the ethical, social and economic issues associated with technological changes, seeking solutions that promote more inclusive development. The technological revolution that the world has witnessed in recent decades has brought profound transformations to various sectors of society. However, this digital revolution in education also exposes social inequalities, where access to technological tools is not universal.
