Population aging is a worldwide phenomenon; in Brazil, it has intensified in recent years. In this context, older women outnumber older men in the country. Therefore, this article will highlight some aspects related to this group of people, such as the visibility offered to Brazilian elderly women in today's society, whose vulnerability fits precisely into second-generation human rights, that is, the violation of equal rights, mainly in relation to health, housing, social security and environmental protection; to what extent the Law has been emancipatory in relation to this group regarding financial injustices and recognition, and to what extent it has been assistin[1]g Brazilian elderly women. Regarding the Methodology used, this work, using the deductive method, consulted scientific articles, which greatly inspired the current exposition of the theme; questioning the vulnerability of Brazilian elderly women and the aspects of the feminization of aging, with emphasis on labor relations.
