Abstract

In order to combat the challenges that impact the provision of a more qualified collective education, the need and desire for a new project, based on contextualization, has been discussed; and, in this sense, a crucial and determining initiative would be the way of conducting, coordinating, guiding, presenting intervention actions; in other words, management that aims to successfully meet these demands. Therefore, it is essential that schools, especially public ones (which comprise the majority of student clientele), seek to improve and diversify the development of their teaching methodological practices so that they assist in their function, promoting interaction and constant cooperative work with the school community; therefore, this action leverages a basic condition to promote higher quality education, making student learning more meaningful. From this perspective, this work aimed to analyze how to promote actions for democratic and participatory Management, substantially impacting educational provision, despite a scenario that is still resistant and persistent to the centralization of decisions. The methodology used in this study consisted of a detailed bibliographic review, in order to make use of the following authors and works: Gadotti (2014), Farsarella (2009), Libâneo (2005), Luck (2006), Paro (2017) , among others. Reinforced by the product of the discussions established and the results achieved, it is concluded that the role of Management is preponderant, especially as it must be performed in a truly democratic way, with the participation of all actors involved and responsible for the outcome of the educational offer promoted. Finally, we can conclude, according to the development of the work, that Management exercised in a literally democratic way, brings with it a substantial foundation for the promotion of a truly integral education, centered on the principles of critical and participatory citizenship. In this sense, other considerations are also reinforced, through which it is intended to assist research that may be launched.
