This work aims to reflect on the process of re(writing) a Thesis presented in 2022 in the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Piauí (PPGEd/UFPI). The work presented with the theme: “From conceptions to evaluation practices in Professional and Technological Education: Exchanging teachers' stories”, was supervised by Professor Dr. Antonia Edna Brito. In the work I present the introductory text of the Thesis and the entire organization for writing and re(writing). The biographical method was used with an emphasis on narrative research. As research devices, the training memorial and the biography circles guided the construction of the methodological paths as well as the analysis of the narratives through comprehensive-interpretative analysis, according to Souza, which aims to “[...] apprehend regularities and irregularities of a set of oral or written narratives, always starting from the singularity of the stories and experiences contained in the individual and collective narratives of the subjects involved in research and training processes” (Souza, 2014, p. 43). In the writing and re(writing) of the Thesis, there is a level of complexity in the construction and correlation between the chapters, as well as in the entire doctoral process that requires intense readings, interpretations, analyses and mainly the understanding of the object of study in a proposal that demands from the author dedication, methodological rigor and a theoretical and methodological deepening and a detailed analysis of the narratives that were used.
