The digital era has brought profound and significant transformations to the field of education, directly influencing pedagogical practices, access to knowledge, and the interaction between teachers and students. This paper explores the impacts of these changes from the perspective of teachers, examining how digital technologies have altered the educational environment. The research analyzes the adaptation of teachers to new technological tools, the role of continuous professional development in the development of digital competencies, and the implications of these changes for pedagogical practice. Additionally, the challenges faced by teachers in integrating digital technologies into the classroom are discussed, including resistance to change, lack of resources, and the need to rethink teaching methodologies. It is concluded that although the digital era presents significant challenges, it also offers unique opportunities for innovation and improvement in the quality of education, provided that teachers are adequately prepared and supported in this process of transformation.
