This article is a literary review and aimed to describe the development of pharmaceutical services provided in community pharmacies and the profile of pharmacists present in these pharmacies in relation to attitudes and perceptions regarding pharmaceutical care and job satisfaction. In this sense, this work can support information that can contribute to the expansion and improvement of the pharmaceutical services offered. To carry out the study, we chose to review the narrative literature of observational and retrospective research, aiming to identify the main pharmaceutical services provided in community pharmacy and the importance of pharmaceutical care in this clinical setting. As shown in the table, the results indicate that most of the articles used here are aimed at the objective of this study involving pharmaceutical services provided in community pharmacy. It was concluded that the rational use of medicines is a public health problem, and it is necessary to consider the contribution of the pharmacist to ensure the improvement of the use of medicines, thus reducing the risks of morbidity and mortality.
