Adolescence is a priority stage for inclusion in sexual and reproductive education programs in Primary Health Care. This research aimed to demonstrate how the reception by nursing professionals in Primary Health Care is an essential tool for the reception of pregnant adolescents. The starting point is the following problem: “What is the importance of nursing professionals in the first reception of pregnant adolescents in Primary Health Care?”. The theme is justified because it is extremely relevant and contributes to the better training of nursing professionals. This was a qualitative study of integrative review with exploratory search in the databases Scintific Eletroic Library Online (Scielo), Virtual Health Library of the Ministry of Health (BVS) and Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (Lilacs). The descriptors used were: Adolescence, Pregnancy, Primary Health Care and Nursing Care. The inclusion criteria were: articles published between 2019 and 2023, written in Portuguese and addressing the research topic. The exclusion criteria were: materials published before 2019, written in a language other than Portuguese and deviating from the topic. The research results demonstrate that the approach of nurses working in PHC units should be differentiated in the care provided to pregnant adolescents and that care becomes more effective when emotional bonds are created during this process.
