BENEFITS OF SWOT ANALYSIS FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The object of study in this article is the SWOT analysis tool, which helps companies identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The objective is to show how this technique can be applied in educational institutions, highlighting the aspects in which these organizations can improve by knowing their Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. Furthermore, the article addresses the difficulties faced by institutions that do not use this tool, missing the opportunity to get to know their competitors and identify their strengths. The methodology adopted for this study was bibliographical research, which included the analysis of books, magazines and scientific articles on topics such as the benefits of SWOT analysis for educational institutions, its main characteristics and applicability. Expected results include demonstrating how SWOT analysis can benefit educational institutions by providing deeper knowledge about their internal and external environment, allowing for more effective strategic planning.
