This study aims to explore the teaching of magnetism in high school, focusing on the deep understanding of physical phenomena through practical, accessible, and low-cost experiments. This work highlights the need to overcome the challenges associated with teaching physics, particularly regarding students' comprehension of concepts, and proposes methodologies that make learning effective and meaningful. The theoretical framework reviews the historical evolution of magnetism, from its origins in ancient Greece to the contributions of scientists such as Gilbert, Descartes, Faraday, and Maxwell, discussing the pedagogical challenges involved in teaching physics and mathematics at the high school level.
