This article investigates the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in Elementary Education, focusing on their potentials and challenges. The aim is to understand how ICTs impact pedagogical practice and the school environment. The study employed a qualitative approach, combining classroom observations and document analysis. Three schools with varying levels of ICT integration were selected through a convenience sample. Data analysis was conducted using thematic categorization and content analysis, following Bardin L (2011) and Bogdan R & Biklen S (1994). Findings indicate that ICT integration can enhance student motivation and engagement, as well as facilitate the understanding of complex content. However, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, the need for ongoing teacher training, and resistance to methodological changes were identified. The study concludes that to maximize ICT benefits, continuous investment and an integrated approach involving the entire school community are essential.
