This study reviewed the effectiveness of educational interventions in preventing respiratory diseases in children, focusing on reducing the incidence of diseases, changes in preventive practices and improvements in respiratory health. The analysis included studies of different types, such as randomized controlled trials and observational studies, to assess the impact of educational strategies on children's respiratory health. The results indicate that educational interventions are effective in reducing hospitalizations and acute respiratory infections, in addition to promoting significant changes in preventive practices, such as adherence to vaccination and hygiene practices. Improvements in lung function and reduction of respiratory symptoms were also observed. However, effectiveness may vary according to the methodological approach, duration of the programs and adherence of participants. The findings suggest that educational programs tailored to the specific needs of the target populations and accompanied by ongoing support have a more significant impact. This study highlights the importance of well-planned and personalized educational strategies in promoting children's respiratory health.
