The objective of this study was to analyze the implementation of gender literacy programs in schools, using the Maria da Penha Law as an educational tool, and its impact on students' attitudes towards issues of gender and violence. The methodology adopted was qualitative and bibliographic, based on the review of relevant literature and the analysis of legal documents. The main results indicated a significant deconstruction of gender stereotypes among students, greater awareness of women's rights and an increased sensitivity towards gender-based violence. The conclusions highlight the effectiveness of gender literacy programs in creating more inclusive and respectful school environments, in addition to promoting gender equity and combating violence against women.
