Abstract

This study investigated how Instructional Design (ID) can be effectively integrated with educational technologies, highlighting the benefits and ethical challenges of this merger. The main focus was to evaluate the effectiveness of ID in conjunction with technological innovations within the educational sector and to explore the ethical consequences involved. A bibliographic research methodological approach was adopted according to the guidelines proposed by Eco (2010), enabling a systematic study of relevant texts without conducting an extensive review. Contributions from authors such as Dubugras (2020), Silva et al. (2024), and Santana et al. (2021) were crucial for understanding the benefits and barriers of ID in contemporary educational contexts. The results indicated that integrating technology into ID can significantly enhance the teaching experience, making it more flexible and inclusive. However, the importance of carefully managing the adoption of these technologies was highlighted, taking into account the ethical and operational challenges associated with their use in educational practice. The study reiterated the importance of a balanced strategy that values technological contributions while preserving the essential role of the educator in the educational process.
