Abstract

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is a technological innovation that allows machines to acquire information and make decisions independently, seeking to reproduce human skills, in addition to constantly adapting and improving stored knowledge. There is concern that, with technological advances and the increased presence of AI in schools, many questions will arise about the role of the teacher in the educational process. It should be noted that one of the most important aspects of the teacher's role in relation to his students is his ability to serve as a model and advisor, that is, its relevance goes beyond technical skills and knowledge, it involves the ability to infuse emotions and stimulate students in the search for to know. It is considered essential the constant training of educators and other teaching professionals to make good use of technology is essential. In this way, areas in which students are experiencing difficulties can be identified by offering timely interventions, each student can learn at their own pace and access to education will tend to be universal, reaching remote places.
