In volleyball, attacking is one of the fundamental skills that requires strength, coordination and precision, executing an effective attack, in addition to requiring a lot of dedication in training, it is very important to understand the anatomy of the muscles and joints involved, especially in the shoulder, which play a central piece in this action. This article aims to explain the main muscles and joints involved in the attack of volleyball. Being a narrative bibliographic review study, through scientific research. Attacking in volleyball requires precise coordination between the shoulder muscles and joints to perform powerful and precise movements. Finally, it is critical for athletes and coaches to incorporate specific shoulder strengthening and stretching exercises into their training programs to maximize performance and reduce the risk of injury in volleyball.
