The present study examines the significant impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic: on the public security landscape. The global spread of the virus has resulted in substantial changes in crime patterns, police response, and the effectiveness of security measures. The investigation covers both the immediate and long-term effects, highlighting emerging challenges and opportunities to enhance public security strategies. Additionally, the study explores adaptations in policing practices, changes in crime rates, and the social implications of the pandemic on community security perceptions. Thus, the research was based on the method of investigation and bibliographic survey and literature review, aiming to establish a greater understanding of the public security situation during the pandemic period.
