This study aimed to investigate the impact of contemporary technologies and methodologies on the evolution of the curriculum and interactivity in the educational context. Adopting a theoretical-practical approach, the research encompassed a literature review, carried out through consultation with academic databases such as Scielo Brasil and Google Scholar, and an empirical study that used the gamification platform Wordwall with first-year high school students. These students were selected for having unsatisfactory performance in mathematics, as identified by a previous diagnostic evaluation. The curriculum, recognized as an essential instrument in the sociocultural performance of educational institutions, contributes to the construction and reinterpretation of social and cultural identities. Its interaction with advanced technologies and innovative methodologies is crucial for the teaching and learning process in a society deeply rooted in the digital age. As a transformative element, the curriculum must be continuously updated to incorporate new technologies and adopt methodologies that promote student autonomy, fostering interaction and allowing the educator to act as an effective mediator in this learning process.
