Abstract

The integration of psychotherapy into psycho-pedagogical practice is a growing approach, to comprehensively understand and intervene in learning difficulties and psycho-pedagogical disorders. This study investigated the impacts of this integration in clinical and institutional contexts, analyzing its effect on the process of diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring of individuals with such difficulties. The research was based on a systematic review of the literature, followed by an analysis of the selected articles. The results indicated that integrating psychotherapy into psycho-pedagogical practice significantly improves the academic performance and emotional well-being of learners. Furthermore, it was observed that this integrated approach is more effective in identifying and overcoming emotional and behavioral obstacles than conventional approaches. It is concluded, therefore, that the integration of psychotherapy into psycho-pedagogical practice is a promising strategy to promote more positive results and a more complete development of learners, contributing to a more inclusive and quality education.
