Over the years, the industry has had great development in society, being responsible for moving the economy, generating jobs and benefiting many families, however, it is necessary to highlight that there were not only positive points. Soil degradation, pollution of rivers and seas, atmospheric pollution, these are just some of the examples of damage caused by industry overproduction.Has the fashion industry, through its overproduction, impacted the environment? Thus, we seek to analyze whether existing regulatory laws are fragile. The aim of the research is to fully examine all this damage caused by the textile industry and also identify how it currently acts to minimize the damage that is constantly being caused. It turns out that with all this problem, the public authorities were forced to come up with ways to regulate and stop industries, through the creation of specific laws. Specifically, the article will select this legislation and evaluate its fragility, providing ways to reinforce these laws and reduce the damage caused by industries. For this purpose, the bibliographic research method was used, with a qualitative and deductive approach, to develop conceptual ideas and interpret the data found in bibliographic research, scientific articles, theses and books.
