The skin is the main affected organ, with other secondary signs to CAD including alopecia, hyperpigmentation, and lichenification. Treatment can include medicinal approaches such as glucocorticoids, and alternative approaches like ozone therapy. The methodology used is literature review, covering content from 2013 to 2023. The overall objective is to elucidate treatments for Canine Atopic Dermatitis. It is concluded that this condition affects not only the quality of life of animals but also that of their owners, as it requires a lot of knowledge and effort to ensure improvement.
