ANALYSIS AND GRANT OF SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS DUE TO DISABILITY: CAUSES AND CONSEQUENCES OF ADMINISTRATIVE DELAY

Abstract

The present work aims to address all the consequences of the delay in the administrative analysis of social security benefits due to disability, addressing, as main points, its causes and consequences. The causes, based on the idea that, identifying the internal or external factors of the Brazilian Public Administration, more specifically the Federal Authority, National Institute of Social Security, which cause this delay in analysis, as well as understanding them, sets the starting point for possible actions to resolve the dispute. As for the consequences, as we understand that when we analyze what this delay can cause in general in Brazilian society, we also understand the importance and need for a quick and accurate analysis. The main methodological procedures are based on data analysis, use of bibliographical sources from other authors on the topic, thus concluding the importance of efficient functioning of the Autarchy, understanding that it covers all phases of the lives of Brazilian citizens, in particular, during the period of insured persons' incapacity for work.
