APPLICATION OF THE 5S PROGRAM IN PAINT TRADE

Abstract

This article presents a case study on the successful implementation of the 5S methodology in a medium-sized paint store. We describe the implementation process, emphasizing how sorting, cleaning, standardization, and other 5S steps enhanced operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This study emphasizes the potential of 5S alongside a valuable approach to improve the management and operation of paint stores, within the scope of behavioral and cultural changes within the organization, aiming at continuous improvement in the organizational environment as personnel, thus obtaining real results of savings and awareness of the actions that govern human attitudes.
