Supplay Chain or Supply Chain, is a conglomerate of companies, organizational processes, which define the raw materials during their movement in the chain, are converted into intermediate products and, consequently, into finished products, then sent to distribution centers, being subsequently forwarded to retailers and customers. The entire network is integrated, involving suppliers, information, industrial facilities, distribution centers, retailers and customers, providing goods and services from inputs to final consumption, stimulating the modernization of methods in the organization, through the acquisition of tools and systems technologies that allow the automation of activities, reducing costs, controlling operations and improving decision-making, through an integrated management system. The present work demonstrates the importance of the SCM in the administration of these organizations, through bibliographical research.
