NURSING AND HUMANIZED CARE DURING THE TREATMENT OF WOMEN WITH ENDOMETRIOSIS IN BRAZIL

This research focused on the role of the nursing professional in providing humanized care during the treatment of women with endometriosis in the national scenario in the last ten years, highlighting the relevance of this service for a clientele that is vulnerable to the suffering caused by this pathology. In view of the above, based on the problem raised, what is the scientific evidence of the relevance of humanized care for the success of endometriosis treatment carried out by nursing professionals? - its previously defined objectives were achieved, such as: its general objective of analyzing published studies in evidence-based health that deal with the relevance of humanized care provided by nursing in the treatment of endometriosis and its specific objectives that focused on characterizing endometriosis, discussing some its clinical aspects; understand the aspects that involve practice based on humanized health treatment and discuss evidence-based health studies that highlight the importance of humanized treatment for women with endometriosis. For this purpose, a qualitative research methodology was adopted, with bibliographical research procedures with a review of books and articles published in the last ten years in the national territory, the searches of which will take place on electronic research platforms such as SciELO, CAPES Periodicals, Biblioteca Virtual Health (VHL). The research demonstrated evidence studies pointed to the effectiveness of humanized care as a new approach to health care, especially in the SUS. They did not specifically address the treatment of women with endometriosis, but in general, for women's health, including the treatment of endometriosis. Being able to establish support, encouragement and alleviate the patient's suffering, through care with more appropriate responses and better use of time wasted in the search for diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
