The use of technologies in the educational context is a promising choice for educators. Among the various options available, the specific use of mobile applications, such as GeoGebra, stands out. On the other hand, teaching Mathematics, especially Functions, presents great challenges for students and teachers. Therefore, the general objective of this work was to: Identify the benefits arising from using the GeoGebra application in teaching concepts associated with related functions to students in the 1st year of high school in a public school located in the municipality of Floriano, Piauí. To this end, qualitative research was carried out, through a case study, using participant observation and photographic records of a workshop that focused on the use of the Geogebra App in the study of topics related to functions. Studies have shown that the guided and planned use of Geogebra can contribute significantly to the teaching of Mathematics. The use of the aforementioned ICT was effective in the study carried out, revealing improvements in the understanding of concepts, autonomy, communication and group collaboration, therefore promoting significant learning of related functions.
