THE “TIME TUNNEL” SERIES AS AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE IN HISTORY TEACHING

For effective learning in the field in the History teaching process, it is essential that everything taught is imbued with historical concepts. In this sense, the use of the “Time Tunnel” series works as a tool to collaborate in the teaching-learning process of the subject and offers a variety of opportunities to explore and teach historical concepts in an engaging way. However, the central problem that arises when considering the use of the “Time Tunnel” series in History teaching is how to balance the educational potential of the work of fiction with the need to promote a critical and contextualized understanding of the discipline. Thus, with the development of research, we seek to evaluate and develop teaching strategies that use the science fiction series “Time Tunnel” as an educational tool for teaching History, aiming to promote the development of historical thinking and the formation of consciousness student history. A scientific research of a descriptive and qualitative nature will be carried out, using semi-structured interviews as a data collection method. The results will be analyzed using the content analysis methodology. Therefore, it is expected that the results of this study will contribute to the development of more dynamic and contextualized pedagogical practices, enriching the teaching-learning experience in the field of History.
