Affectivity in Mathematics teaching plays a crucial role in building the skills and abilities necessary for the acquisition of knowledge, especially helping in the search for a healthy connection between teacher and student, which can make the learning process more meaningful. In this context, the present work aimed to reflect on a pedagogical practice involving playfulness and affectivity in the mathematics teaching laboratory - LEM, with 40 students from the 1st year of the New High School at EREM Benigno Pessoa de Araújo, who are part of from the state full-time education network, located in the municipality of Goiana-PE. Considering that working with affectivity and playfulness is essential for the formation of basic principles for teachers and students, an experience report is presented, of experience and observation carried out at the aforementioned school during the year 2023. During the implementation of the proposal , we realized that incorporating games in the classroom, with an emphasis on affection and playfulness, can be the essential educational difference to fill the gaps in Mathematics teaching caused throughout the pandemic period, demonstrating the importance of integrating emotional and playful elements in this continuous process providing significant results.
