Biosafety in urgent and emergency services applied by the nursing team can be defined as Biosafety as a set of actions aimed at preventing, controlling, mitigating or eliminating risks inherent in activities that may interfere with or compromise the quality of life, human health and the environment. This issue directly impacts several areas. Objectives: The objective of this study is to carry out a literature review based on bibliographic materials published in the last 10 years on the subject. Methodology: For this review, a search was carried out for articles, dissertations and theses in the Google Scholar and Scielo databases. In addition to searching the databases, searches were also carried out on websites, newspapers and magazines. The searches took place in May and June and the keywords used in the search were biosafety, urgency, emergency and nursing. Results: According to the findings in the literature, the results obtained in the studies demonstrate that The main results obtained in the literary materials found show The main results obtained in the literary materials found show that bio- safety ,according to MORAIS et al.(2022 ), beneficial skills of frequent updating of preventive standards that reflect the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as well as the reduction of accident risks Conclusion: It is concluded that training in biosafety not only informs the nursing also prevents accidents in general throughout the hospital environment and we have the support of the multidisciplinary team.
