PSYCHOLOGIST'S WORK, CHALLENGES AND INTERVENTION PROPOSALS FOR PATIENTS LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS: AN EXPERIENCE REPORT AT CASA DE APOIO SOL NASCENTE

This experience report aims to discuss the psychologist's work when working with a focus on patients living with HIV/AIDS, exemplifying such work at Casa de Apoio Sol Nascente, as well as the challenges posed to the aforementioned institution and intervention proposals prepared by the authors of this report, to increase the excellent care that Casa de Apoio Sol Nascente, within its financial possibilities, provides to adults living with HIV/AIDS, as well as to children institutionalized at the Casa. To contextualize the psychologist's work, support was sought from the bibliography cited in the references of this work, with a strong foundation based on the Psychologist's Code of Ethics and, moreover, in the resolutions of the Federal Council of Psychology (CFP). Finally, this work provides final considerations on the topic addressed, seeking to contribute to the scientific community.
