Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease, associated with several factors that make the infection more prevalent in certain age groups, thus being a public health problem faced by the Unified Health System. The study aimed to analyze the epidemiological behavior of Tuberculosis and its relationship with the age group in the state of Paraná. Methodology: The study is based on a quantitative methodology, based on the Ministry of Health's information systems between 2019 and 2022. A survey of data on the epidemiological behavior of tuberculosis and its relationship with the age group was used. Therefore, the epidemiological behavior of tuberculosis was analyzed, with the result that the highest rate of infections is among young adults. Having a relationship with the COVID-19 pandemic.
