The study addresses the theme of school planning in the pedagogical management of the school, specifically focusing on planning related to school pedagogical management. Recognizing the potential of school planning to enhance pedagogical management and create an environment conducive to high-quality educational development, the qualitative research conducts a literature review study. The goal is to analyze the influence and effectiveness of school planning on the pedagogical management of the school, seeking to understand how its practices contribute to the promotion of a quality educational environment. In the complex context of the educational scenario, the perception is highlighted that school planning plays a continuous and effective role, considering various typologies, to optimize educational management and improve pedagogical practices. The research aims to answer the following question: How does school planning contribute to the effectiveness of pedagogical management in the school, positively influencing educational practices and the achievement of academic and social objectives? In the discussion, there is an emphasis on the need to transcend the bureaucratic, fragmented, and instrumental view of planning, seeking to perceive it as a participatory, reflective, flexible, integrative, and continuous process. It is concluded, therefore, that it is essential to rethink teaching planning beyond the structural elements of a lesson plan, integrating the school and the social context, counteracting the fragmentation of knowledge, processes, and relationships.
