The present work was developed based on bibliographic research on Digital Information and Communication Technology (DICT) in Early Childhood Education. The main objective of working with digital technologies is the potential to expand further to horizons in the teaching and learning process of children in their early formative years. By introducing electronic devices, educational apps, and multimedia resources, the aim is to enhance the cognitive, creative, and motor development of children. This approach seeks to balance the playful and interactive tradition of early childhood education with the benefits that technologies can offer, such as stimulating curiosity, access to diverse information, and the development of digital skills from the early years of life. The challenge is to integrate these resources in a balanced manner, always considering pedagogical guidance and social interaction as fundamental aspects of childhood learning.
