Abstract

School is an environment that fosters knowledge and prepares individuals to live in harmony with society. It is important to understand that everyone, regardless of their limitations, can share the same space, making it a suitable place for the implementation of inclusive education. This research focuses on the study of inclusive education, specifically examining the factors that have hindered its existence or effectiveness in the public education system. The main objective of this work is to identify, through theoretical analysis, the primary challenges faced by inclusive education in the public education system. The theme is not exclusive but of great relevance, as it is a contemporary issue that requires studies aimed at ensuring its implementation and not remaining merely theoretical. As mentioned, the research is bibliographic and exploratory, and through it, it was possible to understand that there are many difficulties encountered. However, it is possible to include with limited resources and a lot of creativity. The topic is not exclusive but highly significant, as it is a very contemporary issue that requires studies to ensure that its implementation goes beyond mere rhetoric.
