Abstract

This article aims to show that drugs have been a public health problem within the social context and expression of the work object of the military professional who has been carrying out actions, through the rescue of human beings with regard to their dignity, self-esteem, habits and limits. lost. Social intervention practice as a structuring element of the educational process central axis, the principle that learning and knowledge, when articulated with the experience of life, work and social struggle, enables the analysis and understanding of the complexity of reality, which, when understood, makes become the object of social transformation. The exchange of knowledge and experiences creates a space for collaborative learning, respecting differences, diversities, individualities, based on dialectics and dialogue, interaction on equal terms, and the appropriation of knowledge. The study describes what psychoactive substances are and what problems they can bring to the life of drug addicts and how the military police perform their professional actions with a focus on social issues, aiming to ensure the protagonism of users of psychoactive substances.
