Abstract

The specification modulus is one of the mechanical properties of concrete that deserves special attention when designing structures. This is based on the principle that structures, under the action of loads and natural forces, may present deformations which, in turn, may result in pathologies in the structural element, such as the occurrence of cracks. The work disagrees regarding an analysis of the specification modulus in a beam design based on a concrete problem. From the determination made by experiment of the specification modulus of the ruler, determination of the normal maximums and determination of the maximum shear stress. A thirty centimeter ruler was used on a table, used as a beam to measure the deformation under different loads, thus determining all the actuators and two graphs generated by the Ftool program, which shows the actuating reactions from which we were able to estimate the modulus value of elasticity.
