This article sought to provide the reader with more information, in a clear and objective way, about what causes fibropapilloma of the glans penis, the forms of diagnosis, treatment and postoperative management appropriate for a case like the one reported below. One of the pillars of the Brazilian economy is beef cattle farming, which is why diseases that affect the reproductive tract, such as: acroposthitis-phimosis, abscesses, hematomas, glans fibropapilloma, among others, are of great veterinary importance. Fibropapilloma of the glans, caused by papillomavirus type 2, is one of the diseases that affect the reproductive efficiency of animals, as it is an important cause of coeundi impotence and a major spreader of venereal diseases. The aforementioned virus mostly affects young bulls that are not yet of reproductive age. The lesions in the present report were located on the body and the most serious lesion on the animal's glans. The location of the lesion on the glans facilitates contagion due to mounting and sodomy behavior. The clinical diagnosis confirmed the presence of cutaneous warts on the animal's body, which are suggestive of cutaneous papillomatosis and the final diagnosis was made through a histopathological examination of the lesion on the glans, which confirmed the clinical suspicion of glans fibropapilloma. The tumor present on the animal's glans was progressively growing, pink in color, lumpy and fetid in appearance and was removed through a partial phallectomy in addition to veterinary guidance to the owner. The animal's recovery was satisfactory, but it did not return to reproductive activities.
