This article sought to discuss the psychological and legal impacts resulting from constant cases of violence on networks. It is clear that in recent years, with the continued rapid and increasing globalization, access to information and communication between people has become much easier and faster, however, with this ease of interaction it has also brought some problems, such as implicit violence or not. on social networks, websites and online forums, for example. Various audiences of different age groups are exposed to this sensitive content, which can include content of violence, racism, nudity, pornography, suicide, etc., and all this exposure can cause major psychological damage, especially in children and adolescents who are in a phase of psychological development, so to speak. It is important to highlight that perpetrators of crimes of online violence are subject to legal penalties that vary according to the severity of their crime, as will be shown throughout this article. To construct this article, bibliographical research and website research were carried out in order to base the study on real and current data.
