Child labor is a serious violation of children's rights, even violating the principles established by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Statute of Children and Adolescents in Brazil. This issue persists in several parts of the world, including the triple border between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina, and has worsened during the COVID-19 pandemic. Socioeconomic, cultural and structural factors contribute to this reality, making a multidimensional analysis essential to understand its causes and consequences. It is essential to adopt integrated and effective approaches to eradicate child labor and guarantee a dignified future for all children.
