Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the philosophy teaching methodology proposed by Silvio Gallo and the concepts workshop. This methodology differs from the others because it makes from the pedagogy of the concept proposed by Deleuze the rejection of any method based solely on recognition. For this we will make a brief analysis of the history of philosophy teaching in Brazil and Silvio Gallo's critique from these lines. After this analysis and diagnosis, we will present the idea of ​​philosophy as concept creation and its consequences for the relationship between teaching - learning and the role of the teacher in the philosophy class. Next, we will present the four steps for the philosophy class proposed by Silvio Gallo. Finally, we will conclude that such a proposal allows for a philosophical experience that makes philosophy an end in itself and not just a means for citizen practice.
