Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is a drug used as an analgesic and antipyretic, or for cases of pain (mild and moderate) and fever. This medicine is sold freely and at low cost. Intoxication by paracetamol together with alcohol is among the most common, because besides paracetamol it is a prescription-only medication, a large part of the population does not know that it has a toxic effect, or that it causes when mixed with ethyl alcohol. .
