THE IMPORTANCE OF NURSING CARE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN WITH A BICORN UTERUS

The topic addressed is one of the biggest causes of spontaneous abortions, both in Brazil and in the world, therefore, the article seeks to bring together actions that aim to ensure quality prenatal care for pregnant women with a bicornuate uterus. Methods: to construct the article, national reference websites were used, using a literary review of scientific articles. Results: in view of the study, it is notable to observe that the nurse has the ability to work together with the multidisciplinary team, minimizing possible risks, guaranteeing the pregnant woman with a bicornuate uterus more comfort and safety, being aware of how important it is to maintain a holistic, welcoming view , always being willing to clarify doubts, so that monitoring is more humanized. Conclusion: it was possible to conclude that the role of the nurse is essential in view of the needs of pregnant women, offering emotional and psychosocial support, performing interventions and significant functions.
