INTRODUCTION: Scapular dyskinesis is a biomechanical change in the shoulder complex, which results in abnormal movement or position of the scapula. Shoulder injuries and dysfunctions can arise due to muscle disorders in the scapular region. OBJECTIVE: This study consists of an integrative review on scapular dyskinesia and the most effective and common physiotherapeutic treatments for rehabilitation. METHODS: The review was conducted through online searches on specialized platforms, focusing on national and international articles, as well as scientific journals, to explore the topic in question in depth. RESULTS: 17 articles were analyzed, covering topics such as scapular dyskinesis in shoulder injuries, scapular rehabilitation and physiotherapeutic treatments in a comprehensive manner. Each author described their rehabilitation protocol. CONCLUSION: Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in treating this dysfunction, also providing education to the patient and restoring their quality of life. Studies revealed that physiotherapeutic treatments were highly effective, resulting in satisfactory recovery for patients. Therefore, it is essential for professionals to understand which physiotherapeutic approach best fits the rehabilitation process.
