This research project aims to understand the taxation of the sun. The aspects covered by LAW 14,300 of January 6, 2022 and what changes from the consumer's perspective in relation to the use of solar energy.
The population's growing concern about climate change in the country increases the search for clean and sustainable energy, in addition to financial savings for the consumer. Photovoltaic energy has grown exponentially in Brazil in the last decade, consumers purchase photovoltaic equipment from distributors of these materials, look for companies that install the systems, known as integrators, which in turn install the equipment and connect it to the energy dealership network. . The energy generated that was not used remains as energy credits using the concessionaire's network.
For everyone's understanding, this project will address relevant points for users of photovoltaic systems. It turns out that the unused credit index generated began to overload the concessionaire's network, generating infrastructure costs and increased demand for investments in the electricity network.
We can start on this topic; How should the distributor be remunerated for the use of its network? What is the fair way to make this remuneration?
In a speech by sector experts, LAW 14,300 OF JANUARY 6, 2022 was created.
This project was developed to clarify energy taxation for consumers and the transition of the Law until 2030.
