Distemper is a multisystemic infectious pathology that presents varied clinical signs reaching four stages of evolution: respiratory, gastrointestinal, cutaneous and nervous, this being the most critical condition for the animal, as dogs surviving the virus present neurological sequelae that lead to paralysis of the thoracic and pelvic limbs. This work aimed to show the effectiveness of treating neurological sequelae caused by the distemper virus with the use of integrative medicine that encompasses acupuncture, moxatherapy, ozone therapy, laser therapy and physiotherapy in a 4-year-old border collie herding dog. which presented total paralysis of the limbs, bringing a significant improvement in the quality of life of the affected animal in the case report, proving the effectiveness of these specialties.
