THE NATIONAL INCLUSIVE EDUCATION POLICY: PERSPECTIVES, CHALLENGES AND PRACTICES IN THE BRAZILIAN CONTEXT

This bibliographical research article aims to analyze the National Policy for Inclusive Education and its contexts in the educational field. Inclusive education is a principle that seeks to guarantee access, participation and learning for all students, regardless of their individual characteristics, special needs or social background. Education policy plays a key role in promoting inclusive education, providing guidelines and guidelines for implementing inclusive practices in schools. The present study is based on a comprehensive literature review, including official documents, academic research and relevant publications on the subject. Initially, key concepts related to inclusive education and educational policy are addressed, highlighting the importance of equal access to education and the appreciation of diversity. Next, the legal bases and normative frameworks that support the National Policy on Inclusive Education in different national contexts are explored. In addition, the contexts and challenges faced in the implementation of the inclusive education policy are examined, considering factors such as teacher training, school infrastructure, educational resources, family participation and collaboration between the different actors involved in the educational process.
