This research was carried out in order to identify the reflections of anxiety and depression disorders in the oral cavity of Brazilians in recent years. Certainly, the increase in the prevalence of these disorders in society has led to a series of repercussions in the oral cavity, due to factors such as stressful environments, fast pace of life and heavy pressure. First of all, ask yourself how dental surgeries can act in the identification and treatment of bucais lesions related to anxiety and depressive disorders? Thus, the general objective is to investigate the influence of anxiety and depression on the emergence of aggravations in oral health, discrepancies regarding the conduct of dental surgery given these conditions. With the specific objectives, we aim to contextualize the influence of anxiety and depression in the oral cavity; understanding the relationship between bruxism and anxiety and depressive disorder; provides intervention strategies to mitigate the impacts of emotional disorders in the oral cavity. Furthermore, this study is based on a bibliographical research with a qualitative approach, searching for relevant information and data related to the topic. Finally, it is hoped that this research will contribute to the reconfirmation and awareness of the lesions in the oral cavity caused by these disorders, as a means of minimizing the negative impacts on the oral health of the Brazilian population.
