Abstract

Cyberspace, in turn, dematerializes, uniting the will of all people – natural and legal – in the same space of time, making it legally impossible for a country to do so without violating the sovereignty of another decentralized kingdom that facilitates the circulation of cryptocurrencies. This work aims to address the application of cryptocurrency regulation and its impact at a national level, with an international dimension. Therefore, the research is carried out in a bibliographic and qualitative way, using national and foreign texts for research, in addition to the relationship between the research object and the subject. The objective is to use regulation as a solution to guarantee the legal security of cryptocurrency users and society as a whole. As for the method, it is considered qualitative and quantitative, as it is carried out through the analysis of the content of existing published theories, the search for explanations for the problem and the analysis of statistical data from social contexts. As for the techniques used, both direct and indirect documentary were considered, as secondary sources were used in accordance with the works listed in the references.
