This study is an excerpt from a master's thesis that consists of the elaboration of a socioterminological glossary of popular civil construction in the Vale do Acará region, located in the northeast of Pará, comprised of the municipalities of Concórdia do Pará, Acará, Tomé Açu, Tailândia, Baião and Mocajuba. The objective is to document the terms belonging to the uses of specialized domains and the sociocultural universe of this area of human knowledge of great economic and social relevance. The work is anchored in the principles of Socioterminology founded by Gaudin (1993a and 1993b) and Faulstich (1995b, 1998a and 2001), among other scholars in the area such as Lima (2010), Rodrigues (2015), Costa (2009), passing through paths of Terminology by Wüster (1998), Barros (2004), Krieger and Finatto (2004), Biderman (2001), Cabré (1995) among others. The corpus consists of 22 hours of interviews (recorded in audio) including non-participant observation (first methodological phase) and unstructured interviews (second methodological phase) which included the help and application of the terminological questionnaire composed of 341 questions related to the universe sociolinguistic analysis of the culture in focus, with the participation of 18 professionals from the area under study. The composition of the data also includes 826 terminological sheets for on-site annotation and the Lexique Pro software (VERSION 2.8) was used to create the glossary entries. The result is presented in the form of a terminological glossary composed of 472 terms, 352 terms and 120 variants.
