This work addresses the accounting entrepreneur profile, a case study of an accounting office in Vila Velha. In order to demonstrate that it is not enough to just undertake, it is necessary to have knowledge in the chosen segmentation area. An overview of the importance of the entrepreneur was presented, highlighting the growing appreciation of the accountant as a strategic professional. The main characteristics of the entrepreneurial profile were identified, such as initiative, creativity, proactivity, leadership capacity, among others, and how these characteristics can be applied in the accounting area. Furthermore, a market analysis was carried out to detect whether it was viable and the necessary knowledge for an entrepreneurial accountant, such as in-depth knowledge of financial management, tax planning, market analysis, team management, among others. The research also explores behavioral skills, such as communication skills, negotiation, problem solving and the ability to adapt to changes, which are essential for an accounting entrepreneur profile. Finally, the benefits of an accountant with an entrepreneurial profile were discussed.
