RELEVANT ASPECTS ABOUT PROPERTY VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN THE BRAZILIAN LEGAL SYSTEM

Abstract

This work aimed to analyze the phenomenon of property violence against women, analyzing data and victims' perceptions about its reasons and implications. This article brought a very relevant theoretical foundation, which is to analyze the Brazilian legal system, the public policies that act effectively to combat this form of violence, with the expectation of guaranteeing the protection and dignity of women in risky situations, seeking to If so, build a more just and violence-free society. It was decided to carry out a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, where the bibliographic survey was carried out over a period of time, through readings in article publications and electronic magazines, indexed in the databases SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library OnLine), PePsic (Electronic Journals in Psychology) and Google Scholar in the period from 2017 to 2023. At the conclusion of this study, it was found that property violence against women consists of any conduct that aims to control, restrict or destroy assets, rights and economic resources of the woman.
